First Day Highlights Australia V New Zealand
14.1 de Grandhomme to Burns, out Caught by Ross Taylor!! Edged and caught! That's a beauty from CdG, change of ends has done the trick for him - pitched up around off, drifted in with the angle and then seamed away late - Burns was completely squared up by the angle, was playing with a slightly angled bat-face as he looked to work it to the on-side, the ball caught the edge and went nicely through to Taylor at first slip. He doesn't drop those and the visitors have struck at the hour's mark. The players will also take drinks with that wicket. Burns c Ross Taylor b de Grandhomme 18(39) [4s-3
27.3 Wagner to Warner, out Caught by de Grandhomme!! There's the leg-trap for the world to see, but Warner still finds a way to walk right into it with his eyes wide open. It was obviously short to start with, something that doesn't quite rise up as expected but an innocuous one down leg nevertheless. Warner wants to heave and drags it straight and quickly to that leg-gully. CdG's alert; CdG better be alert. Warner c de Grandhomme b Wagner 45(80) [4s-3]
83.1 de Grandhomme to Smith, out Caught by Ross Taylor!! It was a pretty stagnant stay, and Smith reaches out with a very tame forward press to a delivery worth leaving, well away from his body. And won't be able to not poke. Worse, he does it with hard hands, with the new ball nibbling away just enough to draw the edge and fly down the first slip's throat. Smith c Ross Taylor b de Grandhomme 63(182) [4s-4]
